I was playing GTA 5 and I was getting spikes like every 2 to 3 minutes for like 3 seconds. The game would run buttery smooth and and soon as the spike happen it would stutter like hell. The spikes happen on any demanding game BO3, AC Unity, Doom etc... If you need more info, you already know what to do.

My specs are:
GTX 970 with +150MHz on coreclock and +500MHz on vram(memory)clock
FX-8350 @ 4.7 and 1.51 volts w/ H100i
16gb ram
Gigabyte 990 FXA UD3
WD Blue 1tb
Corsair CX 600

Any help would be appreciated,

Thanks

Where do I start. Don't OC on a damn budget PSU. It's too damn weak for OC. I have the gtx 970 and I will OC it in a week when I get the TX750. The CX series is not for gaming (OC). Except OCing the PSU you OC the CPU as well?! ON A CX600?! Pray to god you can still run them. For the shake of your expensive build, HIT THE FACTORY SETTINGS PLEASE! First of all you OC'd too hard. You don't have an SSD? YOU NEED ONE for current games. But please don't OC if you don't know what you are doing. If you want to OC, throw the damn CX600 in the garbage and get a serious PSU. You do know your system without OC needs ~420W to run right? I am scared of even OCing ONLY my PSU on the TX750 (it's safe as hell but power surges in the area I live in are...

I have an ssd lol, but thanks for your input. I'll look into a better psu. Do you have a list or recommended psu I could look at as a place to start
