Hey guys
I bought parts for a build a couple of months ago.. I tested them all out and i installed windows 8
i recently just got a case for it and a new PSU so i finally went and installed everything in the case.
BUILD:
AMD FX-8350 @ 4Ghz
Samsung Spinpoint 500GB 7200rpm
Asrock 970 Extreme4
G-Skill 8GB (1x8GB) 1600Mhz
EVGA GeForce 8800 GTS
Corsair TX-650w
Sharkoon T28 Blue
Now...
It doesn't boot. The asrock mobo gives me the error code "05" on the little Dr.Debug thing..
It gets stuck on this ( "05" ) no matter how long i leave it..
I Do not get a splash screen or any other visuals coming through..
when booting it gets stuck on this nearly instantly, it appears to be one of the first checks the mobo makes..
The manual says the "05" Dr. Debug error code means that at this time, the motherboard is at the point of:
"OEM initialization before microcode loading"
I have looked everywhere on the internet, while some others do have this problem, they never seem to post their solutions..
The CPU is not and never was overclocked..
I have tried pressing and pressing and holding the clr cmos button on the back of the motherboard.
nothing works...
what could it be?
