Several times, and that little bubble appeared over my toolbar and said i had
a corrupt file, and to run CHKDSK to fix said problem. I think it has deleted
several of these corrupt files. SO what i would like to know if anyone has a
file listing of all the files with a ".dll" file extension in the system32
file of the WINDOWS folder. That's where all the 'corrupt' files were
located, and if I know which ones I don't have, i can replace them and all
will be better. Windows XP. Thank you.

You are kidding. I have over 1,000 DLLs in my \System32 folder.

153 with C as a first letter. Still too long.

Try running system file checker - see help
chkdsk doesnt delete files, it creates a file, usually when there are faults
on the hd, that replaces the origonal file.
The files in your sys32 folder are likely to be added to whenever you
install an App/hardware so they wont be the same in every sys.
If you constantly get chkdsk problems it may be a sign of a failing hd.
Visit your hd manu.web site and download the hd checking utility.
