Hey everyone, I have recently acquired brand new B550 Taichi motherboard on Ebay for $200 and was trying to send a message to Buildzoid asking him if he knew what the memory topology of the B550 Taichi was since he had done a deep dive on the X570 Taichi and found that it came with a T-topology memory config. But cannot find a way to send him the question directly.
So I am putting this out in the wild to see if someone else can help me, or perhaps Buildzoid or someone that has contact with him can help me.
So a little background on this. I have a X470 Asus F-Gaming and I'm running a 5800X3D and a Taichi 6800XT. It has recently come to my attention that the VRM's on that board are not sufficient to run the setup I have without over heating issues and I have had shut downs due to the 6+2 vrm setup on that board. So I purchased the B550 Taichi as it has a much more robust vrm solution and was very affordable. I choose this board because the X570 has issues with the chipset fan and it's placement under the GPU is not desirable.
My system is W10 Pro running in a Lian Li O11 Evo XL and has 10 fans. The CPU is cooled by a Scythe Fuma2. Plenty of air flow in case anyone was wondering.
I have since changed the direction of the fans to help keep the vrm's cool enough to run without shut down and the top fans are now facing in and the side fans are now facing out, allowing cool air to blow directly on the gpu and vrm's and exit both sides of the case. This has fixed my shutdown issues.

I am running 4-8gb sticks of G-Skill 3200mhz CL14 ram and have learned that T-topology config is happy with 4 sticks. I have a couple of macro pics of the back of the memory slots on the B550 and was hoping that someone could tell me if it does or does not have T-topology memory config.
