Over the holidays, my beloved P3 700@973 rig was stolen out of my dorm room. Thank god for insurance though. I just received my Tbird 900 today, and it's sitting pretty at 1Ghz no sweat. I'm going to push it a little farther tomorrow I think. I can't wait to see what this puppy will do.

You will be lucky to get your Tbird 900 past 1050Mhz, or 1.05Ghz. This seems to be the limit of most 900's since most of them are made on the aluminum process, not copper like the 1.1Ghz+ CPU's. Let us know if it gets higher with stability.

It runs 1050 fine right now. But I'm having a problem going higher. It seems that when I set my multiplier on my A7V to 11.0x, it actually sets the multiplier to 9.0x. And when I set the dip switches to 11.5x, 12.0x, or 12.5x, the multiplier is set to 9.5x, 10.0x, and 10.5x respectively. Anyone know why this is happening?

If you had to unlock your processor then it sounds like one or more of the bridges is not closed. If you used a pencil than erase the whole thing and do it over. Make sure all four of the bridges have a solid black line where the laser cut is and that there is no contact between seperate bridges. I've seen this before and its always a botched closing job, just be patient. Hope this helped, laterz.
