Team Fortress 2 Won't Launch on windows vista

Hello I am a newcomer of TF2 I started TF2 in Febuary 2011 and for some weeks now I clicked the TF2 icon on my desktop and it would do nothing it would stay on my desktop and not show the "Prepairing to launch..." or something like that.Please help me awnser back as soon as you finish reading this im still trying to find how to make it better. 🙁

What are your Specs?

Also try clicking on the steam icon and going into your game library and launching it from there.

if that doesn't work go to your game library and right click on TF2 and click "Properties" and then "Local Files" and Click verify Integrity oh game cache and tell me if that works
