Isn't it pretty well understood at this point that Intel will be supporting DDR5 with their 12th gen Alder Lake platform? That would be hitting desktops and high-end laptops in a bit over a year. (Low-end laptops already can use LPDDR5 with Tiger Lake?)

I mean that in an official manner. Neither company has officially announced DDR5, all we know about DDR5 support is based on leaks (which are most likely true at this point).
