That was fun last night. My ranger has milked normal totally and is not
going to waste time there anymore.

If we start off with a Baal run I'll use my Hurricane Druid.

And I made the mistake of thinkign that Kasmir had the lowest character
last night in NM and saying "XP shrine" to him.

I now realize that our powerful "Frozen Orbliterator" Sorc player by
Ruben deserved the shring. DOH!

Also I have explained to Kasmir the imporance of leaving the XP shrines
for the enchantress. He is learning.

My two kids were off the walls last night and I had to split a little
earlier. That's why there were a few times that I fell behind and had
my Rnager just standing off in a safe corner.

The family room I play in is gated off, but the kids can still wreck
havoc dispersing the cushions and toys all over the place. The bigger
the mess they make the earlier I have to call it quits, otherwise I'll
never get to bed. Tyler was able to grab a water bottle off the nearby
counter, uncork it and empty its contents onto the rug. And between
juice for the kids, changing DVDs and taking care of Tyler's diaper I
was AFK often last night. Despite that I did level in the Countess
Tower.

Too bad Tymme ran into connection problems. When I saw him standing
still I thought it a good idea to head over to him to make sure there
were no beasties around a frozen connection. But I like his idea about
getting DSL. And Bongo did you get that DSL connection working? You are
the mainstay when we are out there buddy.

Just be patient with Kasmir. He is still like an eager puppy out there
and just needs to temper himself at the right times. Just the fact that
he made it to level 57 before his first HC death tells me that he has
come light years since the time Bongo and I went through the untwinked
gambit with him.

Every once in a while when you find something that maybe would help him
or his merc, you have to question him about the gear he or the merc has
or drop him the item to examine. One thing I learned from playing with
him is you have to make sure he emphasizes 30% worth of resistances
over a drop of 30 in defense. And occasionally ask him if he needs
pruples.

It is possible that all of his previous experience with the fast pace
games in XBOX and its predecessor have an effect on his D2 game play.
Hell, Kasmir would probably even run through MYST at face pace if he
stomped onto that game.

Don't worry because I actually "see" kasmir in person just about every
day, so if anything rears itself in a game at night, the next day I am
able to educate him on the matter.

Those skill shrines will likely be untouched now in the days to come.

Oh did I mention the dog? yeah sometimes I ahve to jump up and over the
gate to let the dog out. Then when he barks to come in, I jump over
again and hope that he actually comes in and does not turn tail and run
away from the door. (He taunts me he does). Sometimes if the teenager
is home I can yell for him to take care of it.

Actually, Cinnevere's cuddily Bear, was the lowest level, Kasmir's
character was the highest. I didn't really mind, although I was rather

We can't ask for more. He needs to understand that the skill shrine helps

Sounds like you had your hands full. I don't know how you are able to game
so skillfully while dealing with so many issues in the backgound.

Yes, that is / was too bad. Big games can a strain on dial up. During that
Baal run last night, I had my sorc on an old computer that's pretty slow,

And what level is his "taunt" up to? Must be pretty go, he gets you to come
to him! [Big Grin]

Oh, I have the DSL up and running. That's the only reason I can play on West
again. It's the new computer that I haven't gotten fixed to run on B-net
yet. I'm still playing on the compusaurus (K6/2 475 MHz, w/ on board video).

Current status:
Pally: L29, rescued Barbs Normal.
Boner: L45, rescued Cain NM.
Wolf: L46, killed Countess NM.
Blizzress: L71, farming Baal NM.
