anyone know how to make a breakout cable for a vga card for an arcade
monitor? i am getting the vga card from ultimarc and need to know how to
make my own cable. i know where the red, green, blue, ground and the syncs go
but on the ultimarc site it says something about the red, green, blue, and
sync ground how do they connect to the monitor? any help would be great

Ultimarc has a lot of good information about hooking up arcade monitors:

Let's try that again - Ultimarc has a lot of information on hooking up
arcade monitors:

They also sell a VGA breakout cable for $6 that should make it a lot
easier:

I'm not sure, but it may depend on the monitor. You might want to ask
over in the BYOAC forums, as there are several there who have wired up
their own monitor cables:

on an arcade monitor you only need (3) video, (2) sync, and a (1)
ground connection. multiple ground connections are only for monitors +
tvs with terminated inputs
