Television with dark screen and high pitched beep

Hello, my television went dark and began emitting a soft high pitched tone. What is happening?

It's breaking. Or broken I should say. Depends on the age/value of it maybe cheaper to just get a new one.

If you want to get it fixed, check your area for repair shops, could just need some new capacitors installed or a power supply replaced.
