Of course!
I suggest to you to use the "schedule task" to clean, periodically and
automatically your hard disk

Do not delete the folder as Internet Explorer uses it. Clean out the
contents instead. Use Disk Cleanup or Internet Options> Temporary Internet
Files> Delete Files for this task.

You might also want to use the Settings button in the same section of
Internet Options to resize the allowed size for the cache as 6 GB is
excessive for this function. I have mine set for 500MB and that works well
for me.

Hi Sharon,

With broadband, I set all my systems (Amount of disk space to use) to
20mb's without problems.

Why don't you look at, read, and act on, the replies to your previous post?

Hi, Bert. :)

Whatever works sounds good to me. Now that you've mentioned it though, I
did get into the habit of using 500MB when I was still on dialup. Now have
broadband service but feel no urgency to adjust the setting since IE is set
to clear the cache on exit.

Hi Sharon,

Clearing the cache is a good idea. I don't like having all that junk
around either.

I have had FF as my default browser for some time now, but don't see a
way to auto delete the cache. I'll have to look into this. Maybe
tomorrow. 🙂

I doubt that it is working then.
