Hello, i recently purchased a 3470 with a Z77MX-D3H motherboard and a Xigmatek Gaia SD1283 Cooler.

My temps are 39-44 Celcius according to CPUID, and after i ran PRIME95 for ten minutes i got a maximum range on all 4 cores from 60-63. Is that normal?

The current temperature where i live is 33Degrees Celcius.
Also a slight matter i have with my motherboard. While running fanspeed , it shows this :

If you're running Prime95 and not even hitting 65 you're doing more than OK. And those idle temps are just fine as well.

As far as speedfan goes...well thats why I've never been a fan of it. I used to get random readings like that from it all the time. I wouldn't worry about it.

Thanks for the answers!

No, i'm not overclocking (at least for now). Never overclocked by the way (except in my old Athlon 7-8 years back).

The fan is not the stock one. I bought a Xigmatek SD1283 after i heard how much the intel stock ones , suck.

The reason i posted this thread was first to figure out what that 127 C was, and to provide info on the temps of this CPU. I searched and searched the net before buying the CPU, but couldn't find any figures (as opposed to 3570k, 3770, 3770k etc).

Anyway, thanks again! :D

He did, look at the first picture (http://i47.tinypic.com/1zg7v6a.jpg).

That's why the 127c isn't something to worry about, it's only speed fan that's showing that value.

Hmmm... You said that the intel stock fans suck? Well i was running bios on my 15 3470 with stock fan, and it was running at 44 C. Thats good, right? If so, i believe you've just wasted ur money :/ no offense tho :)
