Teras Kasi question

Greetings folks,

I had an idea to switch over to Teras Kasi since I am able to grind out exp
relatively quickly with my pets now. My question to the group would be, for
a trandoshan TK, what would recommended stat migrations be? I use brandy for
mind buffs since I have novice medic and I use some form of food buff and a
spice buff when I grind out. Then when the spice wears, I pull a camp to
grind out some ranger exp for conversion, heal up the pets, and repeat the
process. I find my action tends to take a serious hit so I am curious as to
why. I don't wear comp armor but I do wear some 76% resist padded and ubese
on arms and legs.

Reason I ask is I think I jacked up my stats when I was grinding out holos.
I did Droid engineer, architect and all those nasty ones so I moved a bunch
of stuff to mental and such per Allakhazam site recommendations.

With doc buff - nothing else ever moved - but i did wear my mind out alot -
even with 2 +400 brandies

Hmm, must depend on how you're playing it. I find it to be hardest on
action. Most of the TK specials hit the action pool about twice as hard as
health or mind. Then since you are in melee range you take a lot of damage
to the health pool. So for me at least health and action have been more
important than mind.

It only hits mind hard if you use COB a lot, but COB doesn't seem to be
worth using until you are fairly high level. I have TK 4333 and I still
don't feel like COB is helping all that much. Also if you use a lot of
stims or /tenddamage while fighting that can drain your mind very quickly.

If you are having trouble with mind you can also use canape. You can hold
two doses of canape and two doses of brandy since one is food and the other
is drink. And you can also add spice on top of that.

Put everything in mind.

Get a couple sets of ubese.

Go get buffed.
Mind Buffed (stack you Dancer buff)
Get some brandy 49 filling.

Kill quenkers, gurks, or visit the geo caves, spin attack till you get
dizzy.

Rinse repeat.

My migration is as follows :-

750/400/400
750/400/400
1100/600/600

As master TKA is possible to grind /most/ things with just a Doctor
Buff & 2 Brandy's without using armour. Obviously large groups of
high level mobs using ranged attacks can get messy but if you are
careful what you fight you wont have any problems.

As for not using doc buffs, well you're slowing youself down. With a
buff and grinding around the village I can get around 2mil xp / buff,
probably more if I was Master Rifle.

How are you able to get 2 mil xp per buff. I have been running Picket
missions on Dantooine (Doc Buffs + Dance & Song Buffs). I can run
around 11 missions in the time by doc buffs last (3 hrs). I have to go
back to get mind buffed after 2 hours. Each Picket is around 3200
unarmed xp (varies as sometimes there are babies). There are 9 pickets
per lair. So, 11 missions * 9 mobs * 3200 xp per mob = 316,800 unarmed
xp. I would love to know a way to get 1 mil. What are you doing to get
it.

Thanks,

Just tonight.... 900k unarmed xp in 1 hour and 45 minutes. Only one combat
profession, else I'd keep going like Chris can do.

If you're lucky, you can run into a bunch of random spawn lairs on an
advanced planet and go to town. Being Imperial however, I have it easy. I
can not rely on solo groups simply because I see too many people leave the
group or the leader going AFK. So much easier to declare at some player
owned base and call my AT-ST and group with it. When I covert, the AT-ST
does not store (issue it a command and it will). Borderline exploit
perhaps, but not as bad as the CH *tactic* in use these days. Just myself
and the AT-ST will fetch me level 75-84 missions.

I prefer to grind on Dantooine and/or Dathomir. My favs on Dantooine are
huurton stalkers (4900-5100 xp a kill) and quenker ravagers. Each will spit
out 5 or 6 per wave from a lair. On Dathomir I try to concentrate on
kamurith, snappers and nocuous both. They give more xp than baz nitches.

Now, my trick.

1. Get two missions on a creature lair. Go to first lair. Kill all the
mobs and tap the lair once. Pick off the mobs as they spawn until no more
spawn.
2. Ignore that lair and go to the second mission lair. Kill all the mobs,
tap the lair once and pop off the mobs as they spawn until no more appear.
3. Ignore that lair and go back to the FIRST lair. Lair should be at 100%
and the mobs are back. It's like you never even attacked it.
4. Destroy the first lair. Notice the increase in damage output on the lair
after the second wave of spawns. Great for leveling a new combat profession
with no risk.
5. Go to the second mission lair and finish it off.

To summarize, you get two huurton stalker missions that are at level 84.
That'll be 5 stalkers per wave. Using the above trick, you'll get 5 waves
of stalkers from a single lair for a total number of 25 stalkers. We'll
assume 4 babies spawn out of all of these and that leaves us with 21
stalkers. At ~5k each and ~5k for the lair, that's around 110k xp a lair.
Two missions and that's around 220k xp.
Four trips to and from the mission terminals plus killing random mobs will
max you out.

That's what I do...easy xp and getting paid too. You can get more xp
killing random spawns on Dathomir if you pick your targets right. Kamuriths
will give you more xp faster than killing nothing but rancor.

Natural Lairs. Endor or Dathomir are best. Missions are very poor
xp. If you wanna grind xp fast forget missions. Just go to Endor or
dath and look for 64k lairs. Kill everything making sure to make the
lair run out of bad guys before you destroy it. Can get 100-200k /
lair, each lair takes maybe 10-15 minutes. 2mil xp will be pushing it
if you use Endor but two caps is possible still (Although not easy
with TKA, Rifle is better).

Tips for maximum XP :-

Forget mind buffs, Use 2x Ahrisa & 2x Brandy. No waiting around
wasting time.
Forget terminal Missions, Poor xp/time ratio.
Endor & Dath seem to be best.
Try and stick to 64k lairs if possible.
Try not to stop. If you have to stop to rest your doing something
wrongand wasting time.

Squill cave is good xp if you can get the place to yourself.

Geonosians are good xp, but again you need to get a spawn to yourself.
