Texture problems on FX5600

Hope somebody can help.

On a lot of games I play, after about an hour or so the game will freeze for
10 secs or so and when it restarts, the textures will be messed up. It's as
if there is big holes in the textures. I can continue playing the game with
no probs but it makes it quite difficult to make out most objects.

Exiting and restarting the game doesn't solve this problem, the only
solution is a reboot.

This doesn't happen in all games, Painkiller runs fine for hours and hours,
The Simpsons hit n run suffers the problem after about half an hour (surely
the Simpsons isn't more taxing on the card than Painkiller).

Any suggestions?

Don

The Vulcan neck pinch isn't nearly as powerful as the Vulcan groin kick,
but it is more politically correct!!

Sounds like either a heat problem, or a driver problem.

I would say it's either a heat issue, or a power supply issue. And remember
quality is alot better than "rated" watts.

I'm using the 56.72 denenator drivers.
