The beta BIOSES for P4P800

Hi all, do beta BIOSES still make the system beep
when you turn it on? Coz mine doesn't for some reason.

I am currently using the 1017.004 BIOS for the
non-deluxe P4P800.

Everything else works OK. Everything is connected
OK. The speaker from what I can see works (wires
going to it are still connected). Is it a good or bad
thing if the system doesn't beep at all?

Anyone know?
