Hello,
my "recent changed " folder suddenly appeared on my lapt top desk top. On 11/9 approximately 100 files appeared in this folder, such topics as communion, prayer, suicide, meditation, etc. When I attempted to open them, they all read "the data area passed to a system is to small." this also passed to some files I had actually worked on. Could this be a virus. I ran Mcafee and malware and they still exist.
Please help.

Susan

Mcafee ? Phooey - Replace that passe piece of S*** with something useful, even if you have to download a trial version of something like Kapersky. There are also free versions of AV's like AVAST, which do a better job of protection. When you say Malware, did you mean you ran Malwarebytes ?
If not, download that also, as it is very effective in detection/removal.
