The FX's poor perf. again in DX9.0 @ Xbit

I don't know man I just noticed that in Borsti's reply in another post and will commment on it there to. Freakin' ridiculous if you ask me. Seriously inhibits it's ability to be an overclocker's replacement of the R9600PRO. I think if people like Hercules and Sapphire (in their Fireblade version [if there is one]) will likely outfit it with better memory modules. Well one hopes so for the cards' sake.

Yeah, and did you see [H]'s core OC? 600mhz. Schweet!

I'd say wait for the thrid party's cards in this case. For once it seems like the BBA cards might be the ones to avoid.

I'd wager that Herc., Sapphire (FB ver.), and ASUS will come out with better memory modules on their boards, but of course at a premium.

Damn, I hope so. It seems as though people are already used to 3.3ns memory as being standard on 9600Pros. There was a guy in the [H] forums that was 'hoping' to get one with 3.3ns memory....like that was something to strive for....
