i have a rtx2060 a core i7 7700k and 32gb ram but i still get fps drops which really effects my gaming. could it be the power supply i have a 450W power suplay i dont know if that could be the problem i would really like some help
sorry it is not a 450W but 500W PSU and it is the bequiet system power 8 500WAssuming you have checked both your CPU and GPU thermals while in game then most likely it is your PSU, especially if its a low end or even mid tier PSU. I wouldn't run that system with anything lower then a 550.
What is the make and model of your PSU?
Check your cpu and gpu temp while gaming for at least 20 minutes.
And is your ssd full?
You can use MSI Afterburner (https://www.msi.com/page/afterburner ) to monitor both your GPU and CPU thermals to make it easy.
However I still believe it may be a PSU issue. What PSU model do you have exactly?
What CPU cooler do you have exactly?
