Question the longer i play a game the more frezeframes i grt

i have a rtx2060 a core i7 7700k and 32gb ram but i still get fps drops which really effects my gaming. could it be the power supply i have a 450W power suplay i dont know if that could be the problem i would really like some help

Assuming you have checked both your CPU and GPU thermals while in game then most likely it is your PSU, especially if its a low end or even mid tier PSU. I wouldn't run that system with anything lower then a 550.

What is the make and model of your PSU?

sorry it is not a 450W but 500W PSU and it is the bequiet system power 8 500W

Its a lower to mid tier PSU but at 500 you should be alright. What at the rest of your system specs? Also did you check thermals?

ok soory messed up again i have an i7 9700k i have the Z390 gaming X from gigabyte a small cooler a 125gb ssd and a 1tb hdd and i don t know how to check the thermals

the reason for the small cooler is because i don t have much space for something bigger

You can use MSI Afterburner (https://www.msi.com/page/afterburner ) to monitor both your GPU and CPU thermals to make it easy.

However I still believe it may be a PSU issue. What PSU model do you have exactly?

unfortunately i dont know which cpu cooler i have because it was not me who instaled it but my psu is a bequiet system power 8 500W
