Question The lower half of my screen turned purplish hue and dual displays icons

I connected my 1080p TV screen to my GTX1050 through HDMI and all was going smooth until suddenly a purple line showed up at the half of the screen. The upper half works fine. The lower, however, shows stuff with a purplish hue or a green hue (depends on what's on display). Most words and icons are as if doubled. Any help is appreciated,

I've tried reinstalling drivers and changing resolution but to no effect.

if TV works fine, i would blame either loose connection, or bad hdmi cable
try reduce resolution first, that could save some badnwith, if it improves, get new cable (with enough bandwith)

I'll try that sure. Thing is, when I tried switching source to AV1 (which is not connected to anything) the line persists.

turn TV off (unplug it from wall outlet), wait atleast 30 seconds, then plug it back
see if TV works (without PC connected)

Well it got worse and started flickering
