The Maxtor 1294/USB review

I hope some of you have read this review about this drive.......at the end of the report they complain about the lack of ability to share this drive between PC's however Firewire 1394A allows two PC's to use the firewire as a network connection, it also allows sharing of devices attached to the bus too (or this is the impression I was under)....so COuld you not share the drive between pc's as long as they have firewire connections? (Okay it is no 10/100 but it is a decent interface (and actually it is a wicked 400Mbps connection!)
