azzazel_99 - So wait, whats the problem? CPU heats up?

And guys, I just saw some dude buy a gtx 650,asus Z87 (just a normal one) A very cheap S TEK PSU, A 4770k (Something good there!) An HDD, a Cheap case and you know, he paid 5300 for that...DIRHAMS. Which is 1442 dollars. Just to let you guys know why I get my parts from the states!

No the mobo temp is showing 74c when playing bf4 as max temp. Yes im feeling by the fan exhaust. The gpu vents into the case as its the evga w/acx. I know I have tons of airflow in the case so I dont think thats a issue. I would have just figured stress testing would put a more consistent load on the system which if the temps for some reason were spiking I'd see it.

Ok so ran prime and oc scanner last night at the same time and the highest temp i saw was on the mobo and gpu which were 70c (gpu) and 64c(mobo).....The odd part is once i shut them both down i went and watched some tv with the wife and came back later to shut down the pc. HWmonitor was still up and the computer had put the monitor to sleep so i had to move the mouse to wake the monitor up.......The min temp on the mobo showed a bunch of negative temps and the max temps were 74c. So im actually thinking HWmonitor isnt working correctly while im gamming and while the computer sits idle with the screen asleep OR the mobo temp sensors go haywire for some odd reason during those times. Its like the temps were showing the very lowest and highest. But when i reset the min/max it goes back to reading correctly. Kinda odd.......Should my side case fan on the haf x be setup as a intake or exhaust since it sits right where the cards exhausts?

The haf x case has 1x230mm front intake, 1x200mm top exhaust w/option to add another, 1x200mm side intake that can be flipped around as exhaust and 1x140mm exhaust in the back. So its got airflow I mean its HAF x naming means (high airflow).

azzazel_99 - So 2 intake and 2 exhaust? Hm... Well, I say make the side panel intake so you have cool air from the front and side that are being pushed up through the top and back. Add another top exhaust aswell.

You don't need high RPMs with such a large fan. It already moves a bunch of air.

HWmonitor isn't always 100%. There's so many different motherboards, types of sensors, and controllers that they can't get all of them to work all of the time. Sounds like you have the airflow, I wouldn't worry about it.

If it still bothers you, try a couple of different monitoring programs to see if they all read that sensor the same. My favorite is HWinfo64. It's more detailed.

Not a big fan of the white. I wish antec or coolernaster made a higher rpm that was red like the current cm master one I have so it would match the rest of my computer. You can never have to much airflow and that nzxt 1300rpm looks nice but its ugly and would not match anything on my case lol. I have the coolermaster mega flows right now. They just spin so slow.

UPDATE ON THE CASE : My dad sent my brother some cash (WAY MORE than what was needed for the case but that is for other reasons) and threw in a few hundred dollars for the case. So my brother should ship them during this week!

Just called him, He's going to ship it on monday. Thats what he said. And guys I dont want to clean the Thermal paste off the CPU with alchol cause i dont have experience with that so should I save 2 dollars and just get the H100i and SP120's but not the extra AF140 NOW?

BUT that means I cant get another AF140 so I lose the matching 3 way red rings....is it worth buying it now/tomorrow?\

UPDATE: Just bought it. I got the H100i and TWO SP120's HIGH for the rad but not an AF140 for the back...worth it? 😀
