So i returned my h100i to microcenter because of the noise. I went to frys and got the 650 kuhler for like 20$. Now, I look stupid because I thought 2011 sockets dont require a backplate... So confused.

...Does it come with a back plate? Also what noise of the H100i? A weird one or just the normal noise is too loud? The stock fans are always too loud, should have got SP120 QUITE editions, I got the performance....and No...not that bad of a sound at all..

In the manual, it shows a spot for 2011 socket. So now I am scratching my head thinking I need it. As for the h100i, I had the SP120 Quiet versions. So I ended up returning it.

No, the SP120 Quiet editions don't even move enough air to work on a radiator even at full speed. I own 2 of them.

You do not want the quiet editions for a radiator. They RUIN the performance. They make an h100i perform the same as a Hyper 212 EVO. It's sad how pathetic they are.

Yea true. My friend told me he was happy with the 650 kuhler, so I bit the bullet. At 15$, you can't go wrong.

Actually it gets pretty crap reviews and doesn;t cool any better than $30 air coolers. Personally I would have a 212 EVO over it all day.

Meh, I need it for now, I might just get the d15. Or if i wanted build a custom loop, which is highly unlikely.

lol, yup. I have a while to decide, but for now, I need to see how antec says you need a backplate for 2011sockets..

That is how AIO coolers are installed. Using backplates..

Yes, basically ANY aftermarket cooler needs a backplate to be installed on any socket except for SOME AIO coolers do not need one for AMD as AMD boards come with a stock backplate.

Just went ahead and tested it, the backplate isnt needed as the standoff backplate thingy dont even come near the 2011 socket screws.

It appears that you do not need a backplate for 2011-3 boards.

Yup, that's why I ditched the Kraken X61 for a Noctua D14. Sure the D14 practically dwarfs the motherboard but I haven't had a single overheating issue since I got it.

Don't mess with the 97-03 generation f-150. They are RIDICULOUSLY unsafe in front-end collisions. They BARELY squeaked passed the crash test regulations and are really unsafe.

I was looking at an '06 F-150 right now. My dad had the 97-03(Maroon/Purple) and It is a major part of my childhood. Dunno where it is now, as we moved from Cali to Flagstaff in 08... I have an acute memory of spilling some drink(SoBe I think) in the front). Oh, the leaking stopped, so I assume it was just condensation from the A/C.
