I was referring to the $580 for a GTX classified reference. Allanitomwash is South Africa. Didn't notice so much came to past in a few minutes :S

MDBA - have you tried looking through Google? Alot of the questions you ask are easily found on the FAQ sections of the case manufacturers. Furthermore there are a tonne of reviews by a tonne of other reviewers and aren't hard to spot/find with casual observation.

I bring this up not as rhetorical but helpful fact :) Not trying to harass you in any manner - I just thought I would save you the trouble of waiting between posts and answers where you can find it faster.

FYI 😛

lutifj - No worries. Ill Just look at some pictures and see if the header is visable. Qone question for you, I dont know if you've answered this cause I Didnt see it, but do you like the case? I love it and if you say no, thats fine, Ill still get it, but to you, what are the cons? (If anyone wants to know when I get it, my dad comes back from the states inshAllah ( 😉 ) in like 3 days so we can assume hopefully in like 5 days because I told him 450$ is the price with mine and my brothers case to ship, but now its 390 and he was fine with 450 so this is a better chance too.

Well no,firstly the SG05 officially supports 10 inch cards,10.2 inch according to Anandtech [their review gpu went all the way to the front of the case] and 262mm as measured with a ruler on OCN.
Now this is where it gets interesting.
One of the R9 280X's by sapphire is shorter than the others at 10.31 inch or,you guessed it,262mm.
Sapphire R9 280X Dual X [nonUEFI]
Now the problem here is that if sapphire gave a wrong figure, you,ll have to dremel the front of the case [but not the fascia] but if they over-measured it'll fit just fine.

So its irrelevant if I like or not :) but as an architect I'll tell you one important fact - design is subjective. Some might like a blinged out system that looks like the star spangled banner or some might like a stealthy ninja'd build. Just like how some people like blonde while others like brunette 😛

Cons?
less storage space when going custom watercooling loop, but that can be overcome with some thinking.
More heat build up due to reduced ventilation areas but remember when you have a heavily perforated panel it'll eventually end up being noisy. The H440 and the bitumen padded fractals (as well as the Corsair 550D+330R) help divert sound so it doesn't hit your ear first. Dmitri on the video also has made some good pointers.

May he be granted a safe journey, Ameen:)

Great news :)

I'm actually from Kenya,East Africa. South Africa is just the nearest to buy any PC brand worth buying for any aftermarket parts. So,yeah $550 can become a very large figure very quickly for me.

Lutfi J- Cool! I wont need more than like 3 drive bays anyway...say I have my 1TB....I get an SSD, later I need another HDD. done. :) What do you mean by " but remember when you have a heavily perforated panel it'll eventually end up being noisy."?

No worries, but it's driving nuts knowing such a good card *MIGHT* fit but I can't be sure. Do you know how many card just vonveniently happen to be 10.5 inches? That half 0.3 inch is driving me mad.

Thanks man.

I built this computer a year ago so that's why I have the Ivy Bridge. I started with a gtx 670 then added another in SLI, then just upgraded to the 780's. Next upgrade is definitely a current gen i7 since I like to play Arma 3. The only reason I haven't done it yet is I'm too lazy to change the motherboard out.

As for the 3570 I was just an idiot and thought I would never OC and just to save $15....

wrchad23 - Oh so there wasnt a need for that CPU cooler anyway. I almost bought a 4570 but I raised my budget and got a 4670k. Laziness is bad and when it comes to PC's, thats a no no. Buy a 4770k and a Z87 motherboard soon :)

It's bigger than the Phenom M and Sugo SG10,both mATX so no thanks. I have no need for watercooling, shipping all those parts would finish me,and if something dies i'd be rigless till i ship a spare.
I am interested in the ML07 though, and the Antec 1100 tower. Even so,I find Corsair's priorities don't align with mine. They prioritize ease of installation and such, whereas I prioritize price/perfomance/size.

I do have it OC'd as high as it'll go @4.2 and when running it through Prime95 for a few hours it would hit 90-91 on the stock cooler. With the h80i it never goes above 45c. Plus it isn't dumping hot air directly into the case which I try to avoid with the two cards heating up my house.

As for the 4770k...I know. I wish I had a few hours but I think the 3570 should hold me over for a year until I get the itch again to spend too much money at Newegg.

I'd rather just violate my SG05 and put a 780ti,haha. I hope it doesn't come to that when i upgrade, hopefully R9 3x0x cards are short. Sweet looker that card. :)

StickG1 - Did you just buy that? Wow....Everyone has small rigs and big rigs and i only have a normal mid tower...or will get one. Haha. But still, thats awesome. Congrats 😀 I think that should be for your main rig. Or is it for your mini rig?

I just got it in the mail today. It goes in my main rig, the waterblock and backplate should arrive tomorrow or Friday.

@Alan, it seems like the 770, 780, and 780ti are all 10.5" minimum. Would a 760 be powerful enough for your needs? Those have a shorter PCB.

I know,i'll just use my 7770 until Maxwell/Pirate Islands.

Not big enough 😛 I just like big cases to put all my HDD's in hehe, still its quite sexy
