And then I woke up.

Still saving for a car I think...that or flight lessons...Not sure yet 🙁 I have 1124$...I had 1214 but I treated my self to a mike Trout jersey 40% off for 87$ I wanted one. Cant be too cheap.

So..Car or flying..dunno...dont think My dad will be able to pay for the other half of lessons....Dunno 🙁 I dont think I have a shot at the airliners so not sure if I can pursue that.

Having a car means freedom and the ability to get a job. That's a whole hell of a lot more productive than taking a few flight lessons. Don't forget a full pilot's license is going to be 10 grand or more and another 20 for a multi engine license. At least that's what my buddy paid back in the late 90s early 2000s. His old man is one of the few pediatric cardiologist surgeons in Georgia though so after he saw my friend was serious it wasn't shit for him to pay for it. Pocket change. He even offered to buy him a plane. He quit flying though and later made a killing in real estate so flying wasn't really a true life passion.

Yep. 😉

ha, tiny i have that case with my build in my sig in it. i have every fan slot loaded with kingwin 950rpm 120mm fans that i got over time for free after rebate from tiger direct. i actually like the v3 for the money i paid for it, similiar i think $30 almost 4 years ago now.

yes i agree with you, turbo/forced induction cars should use better fuel period. for diesel you really dont have a choice since there is only one grade. many report a 2-5% perforamnce improvement using red diesel, but that is track only or the brave who risk getting a monster $$$ violation if you are stopped and police dip your tank.

NO Death, that Benz will be a nightmare. Running costs on those are like 7-9k PER YEAR. That would be about the worst decision. If an $80,000 car now costs $13,000 10 years later that is a big red flag. Also they are selling it because it needs the 120,000 mile service which costs $9,000 at the dealer.

When I went to school at WVU, many gas stations just outside of town had red diesel because many people in the back woods had oil home heaters. Many of the tuned (actually fast) truck guys would go fill up with it and run it.

I know its a bad mistake, I learned that second hand with the problems from my cousins s600... I feel so bad for him. He has a BMW 3 Series Sport with carbon trim or something..

They had the idea right to upgrade the F-22, but software that can't use the main gun to its full extent and a few billion USD over budget?

The F22 and F35 have different roles. The F22 is a great plane by all accounts and is an air superiority fighter like the F15 was first designed to be. Everything I've read says it excels in that role and is probably the single best fighter in the world.

The F35 was designed to be a true multi mission fighter like the F16, F18 and even have a version with the VSTOL capabilities of the Harrier. Its combat effectiveness remains to be seen but we know it can't dogfight. At least it can't dogfight as well as the F16 which is a 1960s design that first entered service in the 1970s. It is stealthy though and that gives it a bit of an edge. It's also hugely expensive.

Either way these are probably the last manned fighters that the US will put into service. Drones are the future.

A-10 all the way! BRRRRRRRRRRTT!!! Now there's a plane that WORKS.

Go to www.puregas.org, or get the Pure Gas application from the Google Play store (for Android) to find out where to get untainted gasoline. I've noticed a lot of Weigel's stations have it now.

Anyone have any temp changes after updating to the newest Nvidia drivers? My 760 used to idle at 47-50c and now idles at 34-36c. I wonder if the actual temp changed, or if it was reporting incorrectly before. The fan speeds have not changed.

Edit: the card is definitely cooler at idle. The PCB is VERY noticeably cooler to the touch. Wow, thanks driver updates!

I have heard that a lot and I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they did make the next fighters unmanned, but at the same time, you don't see as much from a drone, you can't assess a situation as similarly as you can if you are in the cockpit, and you aren't exactly in the same mindset. Drone pilots actually have an issue where they have a distorted sense of reality and sometimes have a hard time coping with it. Such as they work a set shift and then they go home. On their shift they may have just flown reconnaissance or they may have blown up a village or a bunker. Then they go home to their families, or just their apartment.

And that they need a pilot's license to play their games.

I haven't heard anything about that but I shall test it on my TwinFROZR and see what happens.

So I want to get a different cooler for my Dark Knight rig because I want to overclock to at least 4.5 GHz - I'm debating between an air cooler like the Cryorig R1, or beQuiet Dark Pro 3, or trying a closed liquid loop again and splurging for the Corsair H110i. Does anyone have any opinions on either one?

Air for sure. Water is pointless under $120.

The H110 is a big waste of money in my opinion. Loud and annoying and barely better than an $85 air cooler.
