Combine # 2 and #3 together and I'd be happy... [strike]The supercharger is where the Boxer logo was right. Top, Middle ish right?[/strike] Yay I was right... From ~170 WHP to 270 WHP... not bad. My habit is getting both turbo and supercharger confused, despite being different and looking different. Who ever messed with the first BRZ... so many fake STI logos...

Back to AP Bio... urgh

Lol that second BRZ that is supercharged is still slower than my family sedan when it was stock. The Sprintex superchargers barely make 50hp. If he is claiming to make 270 at the wheels he is a liar. And even then, 270 at the wheels for a car like this is not actually very fast. Stock V6 mustangs, basically any non-base engine BMW/Audi/Benz, any diesel pickup, any v8 pickup, etc. will be baster than it still. People underestimate how slow these really are. In stock form they are slower than any production mini-van currently available. They run about a 15 second quarter mile.

To put that into perspective, an FRS/brz weighs 2758lbs, my mazdaspeed6 weighs 3550lbs. The FRS can do 0-60 in 6.2 seconds while a STOCK mazdaspeed6 does it in 5.4. My car driven by ME, not some robot pro drag racer, ran a 12.5 on stock tires with an intake/tune. Stock they go about 13.7. In order to pick up 1.2 sec in my car, I had to spend $350. In order to pick up 1.2 seconds in an FRS/BRZ you would need to spend well over $1500. To go mid 12s and compete with my car which weighs 22% more (thats ALOT in drag racing) you would have to swap it, or dump in a completely built 2.5 longblock STI motor, and even then you MIGHT make mid 12s.

To make any real power with a BRZ/FRS you have to swap out that lump of crap boxer motor for something else. I have driven these cars before. Both an FRS and BRZ multiple times. They are very fun and a hoot to drive, but they are VERY slow. They are MUCH slower than they look.

Also, as far as drag racing actually fast cars goes, automatics are faster. It is VERY rare to find a reliably sub9 second car that is not an auto of some kind.

Get yourself a can of dust off and clean that CPU fan ASAP!

I'm using a 80 gb, SATA I, 6 mb cached Maxtor... IT'S SO SLOW.
Good news is I should be getting dream spark by then end of this month... then I will have a legitimate copy of Win 10 Pro... for my main machine this POS Delll HDD rage inducing machine.
I will probably abuse the power of Dreamspark a bit.... No server stuff though... Nearly connected one to the internet this weekend... I got so lucky.

Well, My friend, who took Visual Basic Programming, PC Repair, and Cyber Security.... failed...
He changed his RAM with the power cord in... q6600, 8 gigs of RAM, 7950(just got it last week)... The beeps from the motherboard say its a dead mobo, citing NorthBridge/SouthBridge Failure, I/O failure, etc... 99.9% all of that is gone.
I don't know whether to laugh or cry..

Even still, you definitely should clean your PC every so often. Dust can kill even the most powerful PCs, and I've seen some horror stories out there, believe me.

Yeah, Core cpu is around 60*C at max load, gpu max load temp is 68*C.No worries, its fine.Survived everything.Shorting out PSU,breaking hdd's power connector(its working XD) , burning cpu, hitting it.It's pentium.

Roaches in the HDD bays, spiders nesting everywhere. Ugh I cringe at those photos.

Most of the videos I watch are hilarious short clips of dogs learning not to mess with their betters (cats). I do watch more serious stuff though, typically devoted to useful skills or to the state of the world today.

Not to get into the vineyard, but Trump is not my first choice, nor my second; maybe distant third. But no, the serious ones aren't mocking, they are either teaching something (like building stuff), or explaining things, like the collapse of the American Dream (animated; really good).

I will rightfully talk politics - I'm not one of those people who will just keep everything to themselves. I think what a lot of people are missing with Donald Trump is that, well, he's simply better at grabbing the attention of people. He's a rebel. He acts unprofessional, he criticizes people publicly a lot (such as saying, during the last debate, "Why's this guy up here, he's got 1% of the vote"). He also says a lot of drastic stuff which others don't say, such as his "mighty wall" at the border. Those are all reasons the attention and spotlight is put on him, and why many people seem to like him for unpolitical reasons.

He never bothers mentioning how anything will really be done, but that's what all those politicians do. The truth is, the president does not have as much power as they are put out to, thanks to the checks and balances system of our government. The president cannot just come in and enact changes. Congress plays a much larger role in these changes often than the president. If there is one thing I agree on, it's that Donald Trump probably does know how to get the country to lessen the debt, considering he's a very successful business man. I just think if it were not due to his attention grabbing and hair, he would not be that popular in this election.

And I do think he has a lot of racist viewpoints and that his "mighty wall" and border security are going to put the country in more debt. If immigrants are working, why should they be restricted from coming? I understand illegal immigrants should not be allowed in, but I see no reason why a legal immigrant coming to America to look for work should be excluded. America is built on immigrants of that kind.

Anyways, in terms of PC stuff, water cooling is really intriguing me. It's not that I need it, I just would like to get some experience by making a very simple loop (and have some nice glowing white tubes). Though I heard dye is bad to put in them.

I've heard a mix on dyes myself. The general consensus is to stick with colored tubing unless you really really want dyes.

I agree, Trump has a way of grabbing people's attention(bing bing bong bong(reference to one of his "speeches")) and he never says HOW this will happen.

I digress. Back to crying about the fact that I will not get to experience the new Battlefront on pc for a LONG time.

Lol Onus I do the same.

I was close to working out a deal on craigslist for a 4690k+Z87 Maximus VII Hero until the owner decided to stop texting back :ange: I miss my gaming pc. You don't appreciate something until it's gone. Currently scraping by with my laptop using a P6200.

im on a tight budget 😛

Good god, I remember that photo gallery posted on the front page a while back. Still gives me nightmares!

So I finished setting up the Raven as my new HTPC. It is so much better than the Pentium G unit that I was using, though the Pentium G PC will be reused elsewhere. I pulled the 2TB hard drive out and installed that in the Raven. So now not only do I have a far more powerful CPU and GPU that is more than capable of delivering 4K output, I also have well over 3TB of hard drive space to use. Hell yeah.

Though on the downside the front USB ports aren't working for some reason so I unplugged temporarily. I'll take a look at it later and hopefully get it fixed.

oh god... THAT gallery... Why would they even put that in there.

I'm thinking of an Intel DQ45CB Executive Series Baord(similar to what we use in class, except we have i5 650s) along with a Q6600, then wait for more RAM...

Apparently I can't install the latest graphics drivers.. Nvidia experience won't connect and when I use device manager, it freezes up...
