Clean looking setup turkey.

1/8th of a second may not stop faster fans, but should be pretty good for most.

This was on too 😛

Lol. Nicely organized I see.

I always envisioned a build hanging from the ceiling by strings. But then again, the last thing I'd want is to end up in the hospital for a hard drive gonking me on the head. Not sure if I could ever live with that in my past.

That was while the case was having some work done to it.

I was cutting a hole for 2 more usb ports on the back and jbwelding nuts to fix some stripped screw holes on the case.

Once it was done it was like this(well had a few more things done between the images. EDIT. this was before the USB ports had been added so it must have been the first time I have it out of the case) :)

No PCpartpicker because it's not final, but I envision 16 gigs of RAM(needed because of my virtual machines and CyberPatriot), i5-3570, Intel Stock Cooler, 1 TB HDD(I will get this build or no build), and This Asus P8H61-M, Mark 3?

My main problem will be stripping this case and putting the new Motherboard in. It's a bit of a pain, but doable with some screwdrivers..

Strangely, whenever I work out to music instead of TV, my work out always strains my muscles a lot more and works much better. Perhaps I lose track of my reps when watching TV, but I notice this is always true, because once in a while I do it to music and it's twice or even more than twice as difficult.

Or maybe I just feel better since I ate a ton of protein. 2 pulled pork sandwiches, 2 stir fry dinners, 4 cups of milk, all for dinner. Boy was I stuffed three hours ago.

A PC from the ceiling would be cool just because it's a PC hangling from a ceiling. At least that's how my mind thinks of it 😛

I have the 1/2" Chicago Electric impact wrench/gun. It is awesome. Saved me a bunch of time on countless projects/repairs.

That bearing separator and pull kit is awesome for that price!

You have to pay for PSATs now? Or is that by state/school district. Mine was school administered and free, everyone had to take it.

I took the SAT twice. Second time I actually fared worse than the first. Scored a 1930/2400 which isn't that bad to me though a lot of my friends were in the 2k range. In the end it didn't matter, got accepted to the colleges I wanted admission for except UT ( must be in the top 7% of your class). I didn't apply to any private schools though.

I heard the test was being redesigned so now the scoring range might be different.

I am enjoying my major so far. Having an interest in rock/fossil collecting and taking ap/pre ap classes in high school has definitely helped. Everything has been a breeze though seeing the past organic chem exams posted on the wall outside my lab class can be intimidating

The PSAT was free for me too. I only took the SAT one time though. Got what I needed and said forget it. 2160/2400.

I'm finally employed full time, although not as a geologist exactly, but I make almost no money. Just doing this until the market comes back. It pays my lunch+gas everyday and then nets like $1000 a month. Yeah I know. Poverty. Luckily my GF makes a boatload of money and easily supports us with several grand to spare (save) every month. The plan is that in 5 years we will both be making 100k. I'm just treating this job as an internship for the time being and a good experience booster so I will be one of the first people on everyone's list when the market comes back.

Organic Chem 1 was hard. Only class I had to repeat at college.

Yeah, PSAT is paid for the last 3 years AFAIK. I'm taking 3 SATs because they are the last three for the old one and knowing me...

I have a B in AP Bio(88%) and a B in AP Lang(89.5%, the struggle is real). Everything else is an A.. Thankfully these are quarter grades and don't go on Transcripts.
