Yeah I'm going for all A's.

@Turkey..
Dual core and 740 holding me down 🙁

Installing Visual Studio 2015 from Dreamspark 😀
I also updated my video drivers and uninstalled Geforce Experience, seeing as it would not detect any new updates.

H440 + TwinFROZR FTW!

Battlefront is alright, but not as good as Battlefront 1 & 2! I haven't updated to the newest drivers for my 770, but it runs at mostly ultra settings at 60-70fps, with a few drops from time to time. What's pretty funny, is the stormtroopers iconic "can't hit anything" is in the game haha. Played survival, and a pack of stormtroopers were missing every shot while I'm standing in front of them.

Has anyone with nvidia cards noticed peformance drops over time in games? I have noticed with my 770, the FPS has been lowered. Killing floor 2 has been running at 70-80fps in the past, now i'm getting around the 60 fps with these new drivers, not to mention, GTA5 has been unplayable for me now. I'm going to try to go back to older drivers, and see if in fact, if it's the new drivers has been lowering my performance.

I haven't played the game but I saw the gif on reddit lol.

Shipping from Japan takes forever! The rest of my orders came in today after weeks. Here are some pics of what came in along with my current setup:

I won an amazon UK giftcard and had to find a store front that had free shipping and handling to avoid s/h from the UK. Also those pencils/lead are only shipped from Japan.

The Kuru toga pencil (green) is supposed to have a lead which is always sharp and I wanted to try it out. The Staedtler is a drafting pencil with all metal construction.

Those erasers look nice though I have a few block erasers lying around.

Fixing bent pins on any part of a motherboard is never fun. The front USB 3.0 pins on my ITX motherboard got bent, when I installed the hard drive, and my attempts to fix it with a tiny screwdriver I think have only made things worse, I think. Why can't they make these things easy? Argh. :fou:

I HATE USB3 connectors. They suck and need to be redesigned. WAY too many small pins not controlled by a plastic guide that holds them all tight. Plus the cable for the USB3 is WAY too hefty for the tins little pins. TERRIBLY design.

Also, I built a new PC! But it sucks lol.

No pics as the PC is ugly, but I needed an office PC for my new job as a contractor at an oil/gas company. I ended up with:

G3258 ($49.99)
Gigabyte H81m-H rev 2.1 (newest revision and supports the Pentium out of the box) ($31.90 open box missing I/O shield)
8gb RAM (free lying around)
cheap-o thermaltake case (had in the closet)
ASUS R7 240 2gb ($29.67 open box and missing the low-pro brackets/manuals/CD) (needed for dual monitors and vRAM needed for GIS rendering apps)
350w OEM Gateway PSU made by FSP (had lying around and will eventually replace)
320gb WD Blue ($14.99 refurb)

Currently at 3.8ghz on stock cooler/voltage. That is all I need for the apps I use for work.

I completely agree, and there's no way to add any expansion so I can use them. Bent pins are the scourge of the PC builder. And while the Raven is awesome, the size of the USB 3.0 cable included is beyond ridiculous. I guess that's one of the challenges of building in such a small form factor.
