This. I've got a couple of 2TB Seagate "LP" drives that have been fine (Omega's RAID1), but otherwise I use 1TB or even 500GB drives. I don't collect movies, so I haven't needed huge amounts of space.

I have straightened bent LGA pins using a dressmaker's pin (has a big ball on it; easy to manipulate) and a jeweler's loupe. If there aren't too many bent pins and they're not too badly out of shape (e.g. you weren't trying to snap an lga cover on the socket, with pressure, and slipped) you may be able to straighten the pins just fine.

That looks like a few too many pins to be fixed...

The guys at the shop said rather than getting the seats reupholstered, its a better idea to find a car of the same year/generation that's being parted out and take the seats from those... Apparently that's cheaper lol

We also met my cousin(we being my mom since II was in a club meeting) and they were getting the restaurant van fixed up... That thing is dieing... At least 7-8 years of abuse by them 😛

Definitely better to get used seats. I have done this multiple times. Junkyard or Craigslist seats are so cheap. I bought a set of mint used Audi S4 Recaro seats for my GLI for like $300 total for both seats and all the wiring/brackets. I have alot of friends who have bought various seats from Craigslist over the years.

Motegi wheels MR116 17"x7.5, seibon carbon fiber front grille, new dash kit and pioneer double din stereo, CAI, 2.5" catback straight piped exhaust, drilled slotted brake rotors, new headlights(old ones were foggy), lowering springs, and new fog lights.
That's his claims...

It is not even a speed6. It's a regular 3.0l model. It's ugly and awful and slow. Ugly cheap-o cast wheels that will crack/bend, ugly as sin ebay grille. LOLOLOL slotted brake rotors that just eat pads and perform substantially worse on a street car vs. solid rotors.

This is a good example of someone spending money to poorly modify an undesirable model of car. All he has done is lower the car's value.

Unfortunately the mazda6 is actually a pretty crappy car. Unlike the Civic SI and Subaru WXR/STI, which are just modified versions (engine/suspension/driveline), of the base cars (civic/impreza) the speed6 is an entirely different car than the mazda6. The speed6 was built by Mazda in Japan while the mazda6 was built by Ford in Detroit. The cars share nothing at all basically. Even the platform they are built on is significantly different. For example, the civic is FWD and so is the SI. The impreza is AWD and so is the WXR/STI. The mazda6 is FWD and the speed6 is AWD. Very different. You can make a base impreza into an STI by swapping the engine and suspension. You cannot make a mazda6 into a speed6 because they are too different. Yes, they look similar, the speed6 and mazda6, but none of the body panels are interchangeable. And not just because the bolts don't line up, but because the cars are different dimensions completely. A madza6 roofrack doesn't even fit on a speed6. That is how different they are. Even the wheelbase is different. Hence the different chassis. It sucks really. They are basically 2 completely different cars built by 2 different companies sold under a similar name. This makes finding speed6 parts very difficult because that turn-signal relay is not the same as a mazda6 one. EVERYTHING is proprietary.

Because of this, the mazda6 was actually a pretty crummy, unreliable, undesirable car. This is why you do not see many of them around anymore form that generation. But the speed6 is a great car and suffers none of the build quality issues that the mazda6 does.

Yeah don't want to venture into the forbidden GRAPES territory either.

This isn't even the issue. The fact that he thinks the National Debt is something of actual concern is the real problem here. Anyone who knows anything about anything knows it is just an arbitrary number with little meaning and actively trying to lower it is in no capacity helpful or a good thing to spend time doing for our country.

i would say criminally prosecuting and dissolving the oil/energy, phara, tobacco, ag/food, and banking/insurance corporations of the country/world is by far the most important hurdle this country/world needs. none of the candidates is brave enough to address the elephant whales in the room though.

I 100% agree that these areas are important BUT if you are saying that those industries need to be dissolved, then you are loony. As someone who works in Oil&Gas (my GF too) this is very important to me.

I'm pretty darn liberal, but some things are just common sense.

the public and media needs to actively participate for these changes though. better education and resistance to social conditioning will help changes in consumer habits in a meaningful way. also education and prison systems need a massive overhaul as well.

Oh by all means because life was so much better in the world pre 1880 and the age of the hydrocarbon. Looking forward to riding my horse to the hospital next time there is an emergency and sitting there by oil lamp light while the doctor treats me with tincture of mercury and leeches to exorcise the bad humors in my blood because we got rid of oil and pharmaceuticals. Well at least it will be less crowded when the several billion people starve to death from the lack of commercial agriculture and inability to transport the food that is grown. :sarcastic: <GRAPES> # people are naive about how the world works.
