So this is a fairly simple question that has probably been asked a trillion times but I could not find an answer that suited me. which mobo would be best to pair with my FX- 6300 and my gtx 670.
I have a list of ones I am considering below.

I would get the ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0 because it comes bundled with the cpu and ram for well under budget but I am troubled with the LE versions lack of VRM Heatsink and fewer audio ports. I do plan on some very minor OC'ing.

P.s. I need to keep the cost of my mobo, cpu and ram really close to $200(I already own the 670) and I am planning on just buying 4gig ram for now

Of those choices (and considering you plan on some OC'ing), I would go with the Gigabyte 970 first and the MSI 970 a close 2nd. In fact, it may be a toss-up. The Biostar would come in 3rd only because I haven't used one in that socket/chipset yet. Although the Biostar boards I HAVE used all were good. Probably not much help, am I?

One plus about the Gigabyte, is that it has a USB 3.0 header for front panel USB jacks if your case has that.

Should I stay away from the Asus My main concern is its missing heatsink. I can fix the audio port prob with a sound card. But do you think the Asus could handle an OC of 4.0ghz on a 6300?
