Hold the phone chief. Where did you see that Antec has, or was discontinuing the EarthWatts series?

According to Antec.com, Antec's Amazon Store,Newegg, and every e-tailer on pcpartpicker, EarthWatts is still going strong.

The Earthwatts to me belong in tier 2. The Basiq in tier 2b. The OEMs are Delta and Seasonic for most of them and even the ones that aren't score pretty well.

Also don't see the NeoEco Series.Seasonic and CWT as OEMs and they are rated at 50C. I would say 2b.

But is it true that antec vp550 is in the tier2-b list? (because just 350 and 450 are mentioned) while Corsair VS is in tier 3
I asked because in the price range (3k-3.5k) the Corsair VS series is pretty popular and honestly I want a longer lasting one..So what should be my choice?

As said before, All OCZ and PC Power and Cooling products have been rebranded by Firepower Technologies, as they bought all PSU assets from OCZ when they went into administration.

Update November 4th 2014 -

Added PSUs to tiers are the following -

Currently untiered -

Chieftec A-130 series
Xigmatek Maverick S series

Tier two Class B -

Fractal Design Integra M series

Removed PSUs from tiers are the following -

Currently untiered -

Fractal Design Integra M series (Moved to Tier 2 Class B)

Tier 3 -

Rosewill RP2 (Discontinued a long time ago)
Sigma SP series (Company defunct)
Sunbeam Nuuo series (Company defunct)
Thermaltake Purepower RX series (Discontinued a long time ago)
XG Magnum (Company defunct)
X-spice Kira series (Company Defunct)

As a reminder for people who are still confused with PC Power and Cooling PSUs and OCZ PSUs changing the branding to Firepower, please be advised that OCZ did own PC Power and Cooling since becoming bankrupt. Firepower Technologies purchased all of OCZs PSU divisions and facilities, including PC Power and Cooling. So if you saw in the past for example, PC Power and Cooling Silencer MK3, it's now changed to Firepower Silencer MK3.
