[citation][nom]kartu[/nom]59$ in US and 59 Euro (80$) in Europe. And that's only one third of the game. They are fucking asking me to pirate this crap.Bestbuy lists it as "will be released on 1 of June 2010)[/citation]

Not that that would exactly be legal or an actual reason to break the law or anything....

Well 3 copies of this game to have the whole thing. No big deal, I only play Terran, wouldn't need the rest anyway. However I didn't play the first one online at all. I played it on LAN a bit but I guess this time around there's no LAN which is lame. Ah well no real need to purchase another game anyway.

[citation][nom]sliem[/nom]What's the use of banning when this is a free forum?Anyway, so there is no NDA? Then I hope to see gameplay vids in youtube very soon...[/citation]

It makes us feel big, and it clears out the trolls. What's not to like?

[citation][nom]zak_mckraken[/nom]This game has it all: Zergs, spacecrafts, lasers and... drama![/citation]

What about comedy, romance, nudity, profanity?

[citation][nom]rigaudio[/nom]Does this violate any terms of StarCraft's NDA?[/citation]

"We’re pleased to announce that we have decided to lift the confidential nature of the StarCraft: II Beta Test. This means that beta testers are free to show and discuss the game with your friends, as well as take screenshots, record gameplay videos, etc. So feel free to share that amazing game you just played. Enjoy!"

I haven't bought a video game since WarCraft III, I grew up in HS and college plying warcraft 2, and starcraft, I've been waiting for years for this game, I just upgraded my PC after 7 years, just so I could play this game, think about that people. Let us hope it is epic. This game will have cost me about $2200 when it's all said and done, let's see if this game is worth $2200.

Thanks for the article, I am sure there are a few million people excited for SC2 that would appreciate even the small updates like this. Even if I was not a SC2 fan I would implore you guys to constantly do updates for any game being released for the PC if for nothing else to supplement articles about PC hardware. Anyway, thanks again for staying well rounded with articles about games, Macs and news related to anything computer related and posting something is better than nothing. It keeps me coming back every day and able to recommend it to my friends.

Any idea when the rest of us normal people get a crack at this game?

@Tuan No offense, but you continued to argue with the guy which prompted him to say something you didn't like. I'd ignore the rabble if I were you. It keeps things more respectable. And I get a bad taste in my mouth when I see arguing in comments (which I enjoy reading) for an article I am interested in. =/

I agree.

[citation][nom]tuannguyen[/nom]Oh we are going to start censoring trolls big time. Thanks for the reminder. There are those that shouldn't comment here because they have nothing better to say than "Author X is stupid," "this article here sucks balls and is useless." We don't want those here anyway. Hypocrites? Sorry but you must think you run the show here, and that's simply not the case. We don't have to enable comments on the articles and just let the trolls run a mudslide, but we do. You guys can post whatever you want, but we can delete whatever we want as well. There's no hypocracy in that. Be glad you don't need to have approval for every comment you post.Like Gizmodo said best in their article, "if you're going to be an asshole and not provide any contructive feedback, we don't want you here anyway."/ Tuan[/citation]

Wow, holding a grudge much?

Afraid I have to agree too. Don't stoop down to their level Tuan. Keep it in the forums =P

Oh man I've fallen absolutely in love with this game! I've played WC3, SC, and Diablo. None of them are even worth mentioning after playing Starcraft 2! Diehard fan for 10 years here!! I was sad to see that Blizzard didnt think I was worthy of participating in their beta untill I stumbled upon a site giving out beta keys! Im not sure if they have any left but this is the url: http://gamebetakeys.com/starcraft2/

Does the beta feature crippling DRM too?

Sorry, not getting excited about this or D3, I won't make the mistake to buy DRM infested games again.

although i know ur not trying to defend me, but thanks for being one of the few rational ones here.

i just want to set the record straight.

the comment i originally made, which was deleted (and already got 2 thumbs up in the short time it was live, which means there are ppl that agree with me), will probably only make mr. parrish chuckle a bit and move on. the comment was along the line of "thank you for the diary entry, mr. parrish /sarcasm" plus/minus a word or two. it contained no profanity, and i didn't just say this article or stupid, i just wished this article could be written with more passion.

later, i found out that my comment was deleted, so i asked why that was, and tuan decided to come out and jump on me. i won't further comment on how uncalled for and how unprofessional that is. of course, i felt insulted, so i retaliated, while still not using any profanity or name calling.

that's that and let's leave it at that...unless tuan decide to ban me again.

I find it funny that Tuan sig's each of his posts (well, i guess not his last one) with a "/ Tuan". I always find that so funny when people do this in forums/comments, like, hey, your name is right at the top of the post, but thanks for the reminder that it's you.

As a side note, it's different to have a detailed signature in your e-mails, generally including desk phone, mobile phone, address etc. Pretty sure we can all agree on that.

Excited for SC2!

Can we last get a screenshot or two about how it looks like after you press the PLAY?

can't wait to see the updated of the hand-on experience
