There are some updates that can't be manually downloaded for Windows 10?

Hello.

I'm going to assemble & install a new system for a friend, and I have some questions about updates and Windows 10:

1 - I have to install those updates:

KB2670838-x64.msu
KB3079904-x64.msu
KB3161949-x64.msu
KB3170455-x64.msu

but when I go to the specific bulletin of the update, it seems that there is no Windows 10 links to download, for example:

(KB3079904)
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/security-updates/SecurityBulletins/2015/ms15-078

you can see that Windows 10 is listed in the affected systems, but there are no links, I can assume that those updates are included in on one those cumulative updates or I'm missing something?

2 - Those updates can be manually selected from a list on Windows Update, or you have to download an cumulative pack to get those? if it is affirmative, every cumulative update have a list of included updates?.

Solution
There've been cumulative updates that come out the 2nd Tue. of every month, so you'll need to run Windows Update to get the latest ones. Since Windows 7 and 10 have different numbered updates, you should get what you need when you do that.

Hello, many thanks for the response.

I've checked the link and I've entered the numbers, but I can't find the W10 versions of those updates. I think that there have to exist W10 versions of those files, I will use the bulletin that I've used in the first post as an example:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/security-updates/SecurityBulletins/2015/ms15-078 > It says that W10 is affected
https://catalog.update.microsoft.com/v7/site/Search.aspx?q=KB3079904 > There's no version for W10, but the vulnerability exists in W10

Speaking of that, I've noticed something important: The oem W10 cardboard envelope says this on the outer sticker:

"Version 1709" > I suppose that means that the DVD contains the Fall Creators Update

and if we read this:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/whats-new/whats-new-windows-10-version-1709

"...Windows 10, version 1709 also contains all features and fixes included in previous cumulative updates to Windows 10, version 1703."

thats means that I will have all the security updates from the version 1507 to 1703, and also the new ones included in 1709?

I see. Your post has made me to notice a small detail, when you go to the bulletin, it says this:

"Windows 10 for x64-based Systems[1] (3074683) "

I haven't noticed at first glance, but that number (without the KB) is the security update that fix the vulnerability in Windows 10, that's why there was no links, you have to use built-in windows update:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/3074683/cumulative-security-update-for-windows-10-july-29--2015

if you select "Microsoft Security Bulletin MS15-078", it takes you to the bulletin associated with KB3079904. With this I think I have all the info I needed, I will select you answer as the solution.

Regards.
