Hi! Does anyone know the exact thickness of the pads for vrams in this card? I'm trying to replace mine

I saw some schematics of someone's ASUS RTX 2060 6GB on this site. Mine looks like this but i think it's still quite different and I'm afraid that i might ruin my card if i didn't get the correct size of pads.

It'd be best if you could tar down the card and measure the pads with a sliding caliper or a ruler. If the thermal paste is the same that came from the factory, then you can use this as an opportunity to replace the paste with something higher in quality since the one that comes out of the factory are basic(so the brands can make a profit en mass).

You can use Fujipoly, which is the cream of the crop style of pads. You can look into Thermal Grizzly's pads as well. Kritical pads are another outlet you can look into. As for thermal paste, you can use Kingpin's KPx or Noctua's NT-H2 or Arctic's MX-6.

You could just get thermal putty and not worry about it. Back when I redid my card that's what I did, but at the time TG-PP10 was still available. From what I've seen the new TG putty is quite good (Pro being best).

I've never heard of thermal putty before, but it's worth some research; this might actually be a better solution to avoid mismatching the size of pads. Thanks a lot!
