THG's 6800 article, posible fitment issues.

Fitment problems may exist on some sytems when using double width AGP cards such as the 6800. THG had a minor flaw in a statement HERE that might lead some of you to believe fitment won't be an issue, but for those of you considering SFF boxes, problems may arise in the fact that the AGP card uses the far-left slot position.

I thought I'd call this to your attention because I realize that some of you are just starting out in the hoby, as I was when I built my first new system.

I brought this up earlier but certain forum members sidetracked that post into a circus, read things into what I said, looking for hidden meaning or whatever. This is the gentler, better explained version.

Thank you I was unaware of that info. I've never used a SFF PC.

I thought it was a bit of a sloppy oversight on THG's part, I certainly hope when I make such mistakes that my chief editor will catch them before they go to print.

the last thread about the issue was corrupted be people demanding that I was trying to call the author an idiot, the hardware junk, or THG biased/on the take/whatever, when all I was trying to do was warn a few people about the implications of the issue, and let whatever THG staffers happen through notice it as well.

Like I said, I would hope that when I make such mistakes my editor will address me about them before the article goes public.

I was being sarcastic!
To be honest, like I said your original post, I thought it seemed a little too critical/harsh.
You make your point much better saying it the way you did the second time (this post)

It's nothing but kinney crash crap trying to justify their previous idiot posts.

A waste of space.

If I glanced at a spilt box of tooth picks on the floor, could I tell you how many are in the pile. Not a chance, But then again I don't have to buy my underware at Kmart.

Actually I left the original post that way just to see what kind of idiots would come in to claim foul play. You know, the guy that follows me around the community, trying to prove everything I say wrong. I said the same thing in this post as the original, just phrased in a way that would make it harder for people to intentionally misrepresent what I said. And the reason I reposted it was because people were mentioning that with the original post, those who actually needed information would get lost in the mud slinging. BTW, none of that is a direct quote.
