Things not opening as fast as I would like?

Hello,

A few weeks ago I upgraded my computer to Windows 10.

I felt like I should upgrade to 10 because in the commercials, the control panel, the start button, and notifications popped up insanely fast.

However, upon upgrading to 10, it still takes 3-6 seconds for the notification bar, start but, etc. to pop up.

Is it a virus? Do I have an outdated computer? Is it just how Windows 10 works?

Here's my specs if needed be:

-GTX 970
-Dell motherboard 0kwvt8
-Intel i7-4770k
-8GB samsung 1333mhz RAM
-1TB internal hard drive

Buy an SSD and put windows on the SSD, that will help but still may not be as fast as the Commercial. It like going to a fast food joint and expecting the burger to look just like it did in the commercial.

Remember commercials lie (or have small print saying things have been speeded up)
