My parts are as stated.

GPU: Nvidia GTX1080 Founders edition.
CPU: Ryzen 2600x
MB: MSI x370 Gaming Pro Carbon
RAM: Corsair DDR4 2×8GB 3000MHz Vengeance LPX
SSD: Samsung 250gb 970 evo M.2
HHD: Seagate Barracuda 4tb
OS: Windows 10 pro 64bit

All games struggle to get steady 60fps. I get dips into the low 40s sometimes. And I'm playing at 1080p. I been trying to fix this problem for 2 weeks. Evidently I can't fix it so I come to you guys and girls for help. BTW I just built this computer and I'm new to this and it might be something so simple. But I cant figure it out. At this point I'm really regretting the $1500 I spent on this. I wanted to join the master race but this pales in comparison to my ps4 pro at this point. Really disappointed. But hopefully ya'll can help me fix her up. I'll very much appreciate it.

What is the psu make and model?

Did you get the latest bios for the motherboard? Did you have to flash it to get the 2600x to work? Older X370s didnt support Ryzen 2 out of the box.

Did you install *all* motherboard drivers from the msi site once windows completed updates?

Enable XMP for the ram in the bios so it runs at advertised speeds?

Set windows power profile to max performance?
