It appears according to nvidias website that for a plain 3060 they say the requirement is 550 watts. The TI version the requirement is 600 watts. So I’m either case, I’d suggest upgrading the power supply to another with a higher power output.
It appears the cheapest 3060ti on Newegg is about 500 dollars. I’d suggest to save a little more money to upgrade the power supply. The other option if you are willing to look at amd cards, you might look into the rx 6600, or the 6600xt. The 6600xt I think is closer to a 3060, but I saw one 6600xt for about $350. A plain 6600 could be found around the $300 mark. You could even look at the 6700xt, I saw one of those for $450 which gets you in the same performance range. But anyway that gives you some options so that you could upgrade the power supply and still get a new card. If you are set on the 3060ti, then I’d suggest to save up and get a unit that can output more power. Even though your unit is seasonic, power supplies will age and can’t put out the same amount of power as they get older. You don’t want to run the risk of frying your new card or a motherboard due to your power supply not being up to the job.
