So here's what i have. [ √ means i have bought it already ]

FX 6100 (Bought w/ -$70 on MOBO) $109 √
ASRock 970DE3/U3S3 (Deal with CPU) $0 √
500GB WD Blue $65 √
SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 7750 1GB $95
Silencer MK III 500W w/ Free DVD burner $70
G.SKILL (2x 4GB) 8GB RAM $25
Windows 7 Home OEM $100
Rosewill Case w/ 3 Fans $50

I really don't feel like spending more money than i need. Any better parts for less money? (Need to buy everything but HDD, CPU, and MOBO)
Got all prices from Newegg.com

I want to game as well as record possibly.
Games like Leauge Of Legends, DotA 2, Call of Duty, Border Lands.

I video render as well, i thought the 6 cores may come in handy for that.
I have a 1080p monitor, but i'm happy playing in lower resolutions if needed.

should i get a Cooler Master 212 EVO?
I've never been experienced with OverClocking so i don't plan to, but it does seem like a good idea. I'm just worried i'll mess things up.
***Lastly, i really wanted an SSD, but they're so expensive and i don't have the money. Is it really worth investing in one?

Any thoughts or opinions are appreciated, thanks!

you need to update your bios before you can use fx

you better overclock your fx chip. performance is a fair but under the i3 from intel

you need something like a 6870, gtx 560, or 7850 to get good results in modern games such as borderlands. the rest can run fine on a 7750 but borderlands 2 might not do it

it is worth the money. makes things run so much faster. but then id rather focus on more gaming power rather than faster overall system at this budget

Is a 7770 a decent improvement?
