This a possible build?

So I am looking at making a newer build with these components.

Would you guy's mind having a look and telling me if it's possible?

i5 6600k Cpu
Asus Z170 PRO Gaming Motherboards
Corsair CMY16GX3M2A1866C9R Vengeance Pro Series 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1866Mhz CL9 XMP Performance Desktop Memory
EVGA 850W
MSI gtx 970 SLI
1TB hard Drive
240gb ssd.

Does that seem like an alright build? and can anyone recommend a good air cpu cooler for overclocking purposes.

You're better off going with a single 980TI, 970 SLI can have lots of problems down the road such as game incompatibility and driver issues. Everything else looks right though.

Overlooked that,

Look for the motherboard's main page and see if uses DDR3 or DDR4, They aren't interchangeable and you sure as hell won't want something that doesn't fit in your motherboard the day you build it.

newer mb use ddr4 ram. in a few weeks newer pascal may be out. i would read up on pascal and amd newer gpu. for the money there going to be a lot faster then 980 cards and you wont have to sli.

Thanks for the fast reply guy's. I already have the two 970's in my current build.

Which is running an i5 4690k oc'd to 4.6ghz. (would there really even be much need for an upgrade with my cpu and my current ram?

Personally? No, It'd be a huge waste of money.

Use that money to buy yourself a nice RGB mechanical keyboard m8 😛
