Since on old windows 7 had a disc error which... Windows can't read a disc which error contained: This disc contains a "UDF" file system and requires an operating system that supports the ISO-13346 "UDF" file system specification.
When I bought a new DVD+R, I tried to install windows 8 iso from DVD+R for 4 GB, and somehow broke. I tried to burn but didn't work.

This disc may a CORRUPTED or old, but it's new as I bought the disc. Can someone help with this issue? Thank you!

if your disk is corrupted then download win 7 or 8 and make a new disk or usb to use. pretty simple really.

this tool will grab whatever version you wish from ms servers without having to put in a key to get it :)

you still of course have to have a key to activate it, but this goes around the blocks to actually download the iso file.

First, my DVD+R had 0 bytes with free 3 GB, the second I saw README.txt, third it said:
This disc contains a "UDF" file system and requires an operating system
that supports the ISO-13346 "UDF" file system specification.

looks like that disk just got messed up. it happens. simply redownload the iso you want to use and make a fresh disk or use a usb drive to install from. something like rufus makes it easy to make a usb drive from an iso file.

and i am not sure what you are trying to do. you say you want to install win 8 but you show pics of win 7 installed with a couple failed updates. can you please start from the beginning and tell us what you are trying to do, more specifically why and what you are hoping to accomplish by doing it. we can't guess all the surrounding circumstances so you'll have to tell us before we can truly help.

Download failed updates from Windows Update Catalog and install them on your computer manually. For each KB choose update for your operating system (Windows 7 for x64-based Systems).

https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=KB2479943
https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=KB3059317
https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=KB3109103
https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=KB2864202

Save downloaded *. MSU files locally. Then launch them in same order as mentioned in Windows Update log.

Most likely one or few of mentioned updates will fail to install also in manual mode. Google for particular KB number to learn which additional KB-s you must install before update. Seems you must install some .NET framework version or other KB before failed KB to complete update.

I want it for windows 8 as my pc could break and I will need to re install it. @Math Geek It may have vulnerable windows 7 so I can switch to windows 8. I would buy 9 or 8 GB DVD rewritable for windows 10.

You can still upgrade your Windows 7 to Windows 10 directly from Windows 7 via Windows 10 Media Tool. Works over Internet like charm. You can make bootable USB stick with Windows 10 installation which you can keep in shelf from same Media Tool later.
