Want a bet?

I don't know if he has more than I do, but I think he's got a wider selection, except in Intel, where I'd have him beaten by a long shot.

Also, he's weak on 8-bit processors, very weak.

A lot depends on if the processors are new. If they aren't new, they aren't worth so much.

I wish I had some Blue Lightning CPUs . The only ones I have are in computers. I wonder where he got them from.
Prove it

ALL USELESS STUFF NOW, INCLUDING SEMPRON :).I don't see a 386 inboard for the 8088...I have that one somewhere (386-16 sx lol)i remember running the 486slc2-66 on os/2 warp back in the day too.

ya if he didnt ebay all this stuff, then i would say he failed at business 😛 but maybe his goal was a bit of fame... hey look at me with all this useless stuff 😛 i doubt even museums would care maybe but for a few...

most people sell there stuff to upgrade or pass it down to someone who needs less processing power 😛 thats better then having a bunch of old useless cpu's that maybe give another 20-50 years will gain some worth

Newer CPUs are cheaper than any older models...well, as long as they have no real value anymore. He could work at a salvage depot, or get old CPUs from some sort of auction place on the cheap.

Yeah that doesn't make any sense at all
The newest Intel chip he has is the P4 2.4Ghz, brand new for less than £12

But buying, for example, a Core 2 Quad Q9550 from the same place is over £150

So buying newer CPU's certainly isn't cheaper than buying older CPU's

I suspect that he or some relative of him has been selling second hand computer parts on (flea) markets in Russia over the years. What he's got are probably leftovers from parts they were not able to sell because they are obsolete. If you know the right people, you can easily fetch parts from dismantled computers found in "computer cemeteries" and recycling stations or from companies that throw their old computers away on a regular basis.
