I think the minimum specs needs another look over. A 580 or a 5770? The 580 is far, far stronger than the 5770 lol And the 580 is close, if only slightly slower than the 670. Seems like you used the numpad and hit the '8' instead of the '5' to be the GTX 550?

The A8 3870 is an odd chip to pull out as the recommended, i didnt think many people used those. It would have been better to say a phenom II 940/945 or higher, unless its looking for instructions that were introduced with llano that the original Phenom ii's didnt have? Also a 580 or a 5770? Is that a typo or some terrible optimization?

Are recommended settings close to what would support 60 fps on ultra? I have a 760 and was curious where I would stand.

GTX 560, not 580 guys. Also, some old quad-core APU = i7, that's new.

Am I missing something here? I thought even old i7s like the 920 stomped APUs in both single and multi-threaded applications.

Apparently, that particular i7 isn't a whole lot better than that particular A8.

But, considering that an i7-920 is a Bloomfield (i.e. 1st-generation) core i7 processor, first being released back in 2008, I would say the main takeaway from this is that the game is not CPU-dependent, so that players will want to focus more on their GPUs to play it well.

I'm curious why they specify Windows 7 as opposed to "64-bit Windows." Is this the reason I need to roll-back from 8.1 to 7? I can't put into words how much I hate the divide between app and programs, not to mention the "metro" UI.

I would say Windows 8.1 will probably have no problem; kind of like how just about any program that required XP will still run on Windows 7.

That's pretty much what I figured. As far as I'm concerned Windows is just the software that runs Steam.

the game isn't very demanding single high end gpu could handle it easily even in 1440p not even talking about 1080p

how will this game become an eSports favorite? 1v4? is it balanced? eSports are typically 5v5 or 1v1. i don't get what appeal it has for eSports.
