This months CPU suggestions from Tomshardware kind of failed.

They are talking about chips under 200$.
And they completely skip the 140-150-160 (150$) section.
they go from 120$ to 190$.

I specifically have 140 to 160 to spend on a chip. I would never bother buying a CPU for 100$. thats such a big waste, you are getting the lowest end of the old and crusty, and it will hardly be any better than what you have now.
And I dont have 200$ to blow.

So not only did they completely look over the 150$ market area (Which is arguably the most interesting section of CPUS atm.

On top of that, how can they justify putting Dual core chips in all but one of the winners positions.

They are talking about Gamer rigs. Try playing a single rockstar game on a dual core. They know dual core is not the way to go atm.

Am I wrong?
I just cant see how advising to stick with dual core chips is anything other than bad advice.
its 2012. Multimedia, multitasking.
the dual core chips here will barely hold on, dont expect to alt tab out.

Ive been watching youtube videos of fraps and all the chips on this list.
Anything under quad core is just bad advice.

Am I incorrect?

Im picking up the 140$ Fx 6100 for 64 player battlefield maps even.
Ive personally reviewed dozens of youtube videos on all the chips listed to see which one handled
heavy multiplayer maps AND fraps.

anything below the 6100 started to show its struggle. with slight stutter while recording full HD.
the 6100 took it without stutters.

If it can run the game AND fraps.

What if I say that no right can be mitigated by any amount of wrongs?

We can argue morality forever, but that's not going to change either of our minds. Clearly you have taken a pessimistic view of society, and you are entitled to your opinion and we can agree to disagree.

And here we go with the Intel pays everyone off conspiracy theory garbage. You keep telling yourself that Intel pays off developers and benchmark websites. :pfff: :pfff: . Next you'll be telling us aliens are real or 9/11 was an inside job. All of the above are about as dumb as what you said.

There is no better between AMD/Intel there is just a manufactured and artificially created mindset that Intel is far superior over AMD I have both AMD and Intel procs I have not noticed a real dif between them for what I use them for Gaming, Music and movies, light encoding music and photos video etc.

Dense Intel has you going so hard that anything that opposes them you proclaim as false blasphemy this is just how they duped Americans into fighting yet another Rich mans war that was supposed to stop when Obama made pres. Anyway I am out you are clearly young and impressionable by anything made to look official so with I bid you do some learning about history and how it ties into everything in life today.

Again :pfff: :pfff: that's all I can say to the stupidity of some people.

What those benchmarks show, is that BF3 multiplayer is indeed very CPU demanding and than the i5-2500k and the FX8150 perform within a few frames per second of each other.

The i3-2100 is great for games that were originally developed for the 3-core found inside the Xbox360 or the awkward thing of a CPU inside the PS3, but we are going to see a lot more games written for modern 4-,6- or 8-core cpus soon.
The number of cores inside CPUs is only ever going to go up. Software will have to adapt.

Edit: You know what? I give up. I am unwilling to argue with you about this, because there is no chance that you will see reason.

You are willing to buy inferior products because you are afraid of evil corporations.

You sound like a crazy person.

Scratch that, you DO own Intel products. So what does that say about your convictions? You don't even follow your own beliefs.

Why so hostel and I have purchased Intel product and AMD product so what gives.

Well you have insulted Intel, "America" and others on this forum calling us "Dense." So I’m sorry if my response is less than friendly.

You have these strong convictions and beliefs about how corporations are evil, and you will not support Intel, yet you buy their products. Clearly you are a troll who just wants to get a rise out of people. Guess what, congratulations. You have succeeded in getting me riled up enough to take the time to expose you as an obvious hypocrite and a troll.

See the problem is people identifying there whole being in an abstract manufactured ideal or brand or country in this case I called Intel Dense as signified when I wrote ( Dense Intel ) note the word Dense was in front of the word Intel and Intel was the word after Dense.
