This or High-end?

Hello,
First of all just let me tell you i'm not a computer scientist !
My question is: should I build this pc (all just standard components/Not overclocked since I dont know how to do that.) or should I build a high-end system? And if so high-end, what should I change about it and what do you guys recommend to get? I dont mind getting a second videocard or something like that.

This is my build so far:

I would personally get a 770, or i you can, a 780 because they will crush the 760 which can be slwower than a 670. Other than that it looks good.

So you wouldn't say get 2x 670 or any other card instead of 1x 780?

not really, seing as 2x760 has a very limited upgrade path, and the 670s are dying. The 780 is more than adequate, and when it isn't he can sli. the 2 760s are slightly better than the 780 but cannot be upgraded past a third if needed. Plus it is always better with less cards if they perform roughly the same.

no. it will perform the same compared to a k series CPU and a z series motherboard at the same clockspeed. overclocking can give you a 10% increase in terms of CPU performance, but it will cost you 200 dollars in the end to get a system ready for overclocking.

the GPU (which is more important for gaming) will overclock regardless of what board or CPU you pair with it

Hello agian,

I'm glad to say I finnaly have my build ready and I finnaly ordered everything, atm im waiting for the components to get delivered to my resident.

I just wanted to thank all you guys who posted in this topic, you guys would't know how much you helped me but let me tell you it was ALLOT and im thankfull for that! Not that I followed all the advise (probably didn't buy any part you guys recommended, but it made me open my eyes for diffrent options 😛).

It was allot of fun to make a complete build by and for myself. It took me about 300 hours to finnaly know what everything is and does and how I could combine stuff and what parts actually are combinable. Still I am not done, I still have to search for a good monitor that suits my needs and already got pretty far with finding out what I want and really need to get this build complete. Also I'm still looking into how I can get my cable management perfect with some extra fans (yet again i am complete noob on these parts and still need to find out everything but I think ill manage).

I do not trust that Corsair RM PSU... Seems fishy. Anyways, You can change your PSU into Seasonic. They make better PSU or simply go into Corsair TX Series (Modular ones like TX650M, TX750M) But yea, In my opinion though.
