What a surprise, Anandtech rushes in to defend Intel. Regardless of whether the chip runs the game or not, what they did was "not cool". Hopefully they will hold a second demo where they apologize for trying to fool people, and actually show a real time demo.

I am providing you with information that you seem to lack based on your posts. You aren't the first "Youngster" ranked individual; nor will you be the last; that does not seem to know some basic facts. I don't play F1 so I don't know what graphic settings are during the demo since they were not spoken of or shown in the setup screen.

The fact is that they have been desperate to trash Intel since AMD's own stupidity with the Bulldozer. They think that this gives them a reason to trash Intel but really it doesn't. The whole thing was to prove that it would run the DX11. Sorry AMD fanboys but you fail again (just like AMD) try again next time.

i dont exactly agree with u on that f1 2011 is a good game when it comes to graphics i mean it doesn tlook fantastic but it squezes the juice outta graphics card its because maybe the bad coding on the game but still its not really that bad

Someone needs a "glass-ectomy" if They think that Intel controls media and anandtech. Right now Intel is favored, YES - But there is a reason, maybe they have a better product, and better support for their chipsets.

NO, did not make up "glass-ectomy", a lowly coach was placed on administrative leave for stating that a person (not to be a name dropper) in the oval office needed one.

I have F1 2010 and it is not at all a GPU hog even cranked to the max.

Laptops and such run at pretty low resolution like 1366x768. I'm sure an HD4000 can run the game at lowered settings. We already know an HD3000 is around the GPU power of an AMD Radeon 5550. If the HD4000 is in the 5650 range, then yeah, it can game.

Still in the real world AMD is plenty of performance for most as in well over half of the population that use or need a PC so both AMD or Intel is just fine for most people and most people would never notice the difference anyway. However if you are Disney Pixar then you will most likely be running a $1000+ Intel CPU just cause you can and it is more suited and useable to Professionals needs.

@OP: intel has a lot of money, certainly not enough to pay off every media outlet in the world.
vendors running video demos instead of actual demonstration doesn't seem very new or earthshattering. time constraint is an issue at expos like these.
seems like most of the freak out being caused from that video link is from fanboy-rage. most people had a laugh and moved on.
when ivy bridge does come out and turns out to be capable of playing that game, all this fanboy-rage would be more funny than the video (it's already meaningless, even now).
i'll end my post with something a very wise person told me:

If Intel hadn't been able to do a real demo for Anandtech and BSN, then your complaints would have some merit, but as it is, it is just a sad rant by someone with an unhealthy emotional attachment to AMD.

How was what he said the truth?

From the start he was being pretty obvious about not actually playing it, and after about 20 seconds he steps away from it as the punchline. He then makes the point that, no, he wasn't playing it but that this is what you might expect from the DX11 capable HD 4000.

No it's not its all AMD Fanboy BS. Read what Chad wrote thats the truth. No one is getting payed by Intel that's such garbage. Also as Chad said If Intel hadn't been able to do a real demo for Anandtech and BSN, then your complaints would have some merit, but as it is, it is just a sad rant by someone with an unhealthy emotional attachment to AMD. It should have obvious that he wasn't really playing. The point was to show what can be expected of DX11 4000 graphics.
