Thoughts on build?

There's no reason you should pay $1000 for the monitor that the i5 can't catch up too well with.

Why two SSD's? Where you planning on a RAID array?
Personally I would use a single M.2 drive and a conventional hard drive . It would be faster and cost less

Use 2 x8 gig of RAM .

That monitor comes in two versions . One is AMD freesync and one is Nvidia GSync . Make certain you are getting the G Sync one .
[ I want one too ] . 75 Hz and the free/G sync are well worth paying for IMO

850 watt psu is overkill . So is the water cooler for such a low wattage cpu . Maybe you want them anyway

I was planning on it, or getting a 4k monitor when we finally get decent text scaling updates to windows.

"With a high-quality IPS panel and FreeSync, it seems that Acer has once again created a gaming monitor to lust for. We raved about the XB270HU with its 144Hz IPS/QHD panel and superb image. Now those with a large display budget just might consider going for the curve. "

This is the free sync version . Identical in every other way

I stick with this as the best bang for buck for your uses

First of, Acer has gsync/freesync Lg doesnt
Acer has height adjustment on stand and a 10x better contrast ratio plus a 4 second rated gtg response time

Alright, thanks, from the bottom of my heart, for the future references!
