I'm moving from Console to the master race and in the process of building/buying my 1st Gaming/College Work PC. I play PC games such as LoL, FM15, CS:GO etc. casually already but as you know they are not demanding at all, I want to be able to play much heavier demanding games like Far Cry 4, Battlefield 3 etc.

Will this rig I've put together do this for me, and what additions would you recommend?

I built this PC by picking parts from Chillblast but will probably buy them from partpicker and get my dad to help build it as he's a computer engineer of some sort lol.
Budget is £800. (But Cheaper the better)

Case: Corsair Carbide SPEC-01 Midi Tower Case
CPU: Intel Core i5 4690K Haswell Refresh Processor 3.50 GHz (Overclocked to up to 4.3GHz)
CPU Cooler: Akasa Nero Quiet CPU Cooler
MoBo: Gigabyte Z97X-SLI Motherboard - Haswell CPU only
RAM: 8GB Corsair PC3-12800 1600MHz DDR3 Memory (2 x 4GB sticks)
GPU: Chillblast NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 2GB Graphics Card
SSD: 120GB Samsung 840 EVO Solid State Drive
HDD: 1000GB 7200RPM Hard Disk - 6Gbps
Optical Drive: 24x SATA DVD+/-RW Drive
PSU: FSP Premium Grade 500W PSU
OS: Windows 8.1 64 bit

Price: £750

Note: I would like to Overclock in the future, not too much just enough to boost permofmance and keep it stable. Will this fan do the job?

Please shed some light or gloom on my build, thanks in advance.

First thing that stands out is the PSU. FSP runs from super high tier to throw it away tier and I'm not sure where your specific model stands. However build quality aside for a moment, you're wattage should be upped. You're at the bare minimum to run your video card. I'd really recommend bumping to at least 550 or 600watt so you don't have to worry. You're across the pond so I'm not sure what your availability of higher end PSU's is, but check out this list for a good starting point of where to look.

For your RAM, without knowing the exact model I cant say for sure, but check to make sure your CPU cooler doesn't overlap your RAM slots. If you have tall RAM...
I think that cooler could become a bottleneck if you want to overclock (not 100% sure tho). Since your case has a window, I would go for a liquid AiO cooler like the Corsair h100 because it will look better through the window and it will be able to handle a lot of overclocking.

As for over clocking, you have what looks to be a very standard tower cooler. You can likely get some modest overclocks on it. If you really want to get more serious about over clocks look in to a dual fan tower cooler (Like the D14/D15 from Noctua) or a water cooling rig.
