So I'm not 100% sure I'm ready to go through with a new build, which will include a new monitor and tip up close to $2k with no new GPU.... but I have money burning a hole in the wallet and current build is 5 years old now. For starters I do casual random gaming on the PC, but primarily game on my PS5 (yes, one of the lucky ones). I will probably play a few games every few years and I'm a sucker for wanting the latest greatest tech.
My current build is in my sig, and I will only be bringing over my 1050ti and the intel SSD600. I am building with a plan to add an rtx when they're available and reasonably priced. I will also try and sell the current chip, memory and maybe mobo.
Anyhow, consider this a mid to low level gaming build with a need to occasionally transcode plex movies to my home theatre. I have no intentions of overclocking.
