That build is SMOKIN'! Your graphics are like, overkill. But you gotta' enjoy the finer things in life.

It's making me drool a little. It's a great set of components, so enjoy it! It's gonna look great in that case, though I'd prefer something a different color.

Also, I agree with MisterSprinkles, that board is gimmicky, though it does look cool. I mean, you have a huge budget anyway, so not sure it matters much at this point.

Not as cool as yours, but I went with a blue build myself. For some reason, I prefer blue over green on computers, despite liking green a lot better.

My only suggestion is to look at the Gunmetal version of the Phantom 820. I have a Gunmetal Phantom 630 and have seen pictures of the black cases showing smudges really easy. The gunmetal stays much cleaner looking IMHO. Other than that it is going to be a great build.

Is it worth getting an x99 board, and changing the ram and processor to something like a 5930k and some corsair ddr4 ram? (this build is primarily for gaming)

No , the Z97 is is more than sufficient.
