Thumb drive doesnt show up as a disk

Hello,
I am trying to make my Thumb Drive bootable to install windows 7 on my laptop that doesnt have a dvd tray. But when I goto cmd than disk part, it wont show up as a disk, none of the three i have tried have yet.

Could you take a look at this step-by-step on creating a Windows 7 flash drive installer and see if you followed the directions to the letter? You'll have to "activate" the partition after defining it.
